Painter Rebecca Livermore paints quiet places throughout the west. Her bold use of color is not always quiet though. Her lively, stylized compositions are designed to emphasize the form and beauty of her subjects.
Originally from San Francisco, with a Master of Fine Art in Design in 1983 from the Rhode Island School of Design, Rebecca began painting the "real west" through travels with her husband, Dave, and his work with the Nature Conservancy of Utah. Their family now lives in Salt Lake City.
Through joining the Utah Watercolor Society, earning Signature Membership in the Society, attending numerous lectures and workshops, taking painting expeditions with fellow artists, traveling extensively, visiting museums and galleries as often as possible and entering her paintings into juied shows, Rebecca continues to develop as an artist. Her work can be found in private, corporate and museum collections across the country.
Worthington Gallery has proudly represented Rebecca's work since 2001.
